TexAu Lifetime Deal (LTD) & Review - Lifetime Deals

TexAu is a library of growth automations: scrape LinkedIn profiles and Sales Navigator searches, send connection requests, export Google Maps listings, pull data from X and YouTube.
This time it runs as a desktop app on your own computer, using your own browser and IP address.
The deal starts at $69 for one machine and 50 hours of runtime a month.
TexAu has been on AppSumo before. More than 11,000 people bought that deal, and the product they bought no longer exists.
The verdict? Skip. Here is how it scores against the way we review deals.
TL;DR. TexAu Desktop is live on AppSumo from $69 to $999 across five tiers. The app is cheap for what it claims. The catch: TexAu closed its last lifetime product twice, LinkedIn bans automation tools on your own account, and the app needs TexAu's licence server before every run. Skip it as a lifetime buy.

What does TexAu actually do?
TexAu Desktop is a Windows and Mac app. You connect your accounts through a TexAu browser extension, pick an automation, feed it a URL or a CSV, and it runs in your browser and saves the results as a CSV on your computer.
The library covers:
- LinkedIn: profile scraper, Sales Navigator search export, auto-connect, auto-message, auto-comment
- Google Maps: business search export, up to 80 results per run
- X, YouTube, Slack, and websites: scrapers and exporters
You can connect unlimited accounts, but each account runs one automation at a time. Your data stays on your machine.
There is no public API and no Google Sheets export. The deal does not include TexAu V3 (the company's cloud platform), email finding, or email verification.
TexAu OÜ is registered in Estonia and run by founder Vikesh Tiwari.
Is the TexAu lifetime deal active?
Yes, the AppSumo deal is live with no end date set.
It is an AppSumo Select listing, and AppSumo runs it, so the 60-day refund applies. It has three reviews, all five tacos. One of them praises email verification, which the deal does not include.
The terms give lifetime access and all future desktop app updates. You must activate within 60 days, and you can only downgrade within 60 days of purchase.
The terms say the deal is for brand-new TexAu users only. The founder has told old buyers in the Q&A that they can buy too. The two do not agree.
What does the TexAu deal include?
| Feature | T1 · $69 | T2 · $138 | T3 · $276 | T4 · $552 | T5 · $999 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Machines (licence keys) | 1 | 1 | 3 | 5 | 10 |
| Concurrent runs per key | 1 | 3 | 6 | 12 | unlimited |
| Runtime per key per month | 50 h | 300 h | 750 h | unlimited | unlimited |
| Connected accounts | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited |
| Public API | no | no | no | no | no |
The limits apply to each licence key. TexAu's help centre says runtime counts failed rows, resets on the 1st, and does not roll over. At the cap, no new runs start.
Extra proxy bandwidth is a paid add-on at $49 per 10 GB.
The listing card says 110+ automations, the listing body says 150+, and TexAu's own site says 160+. One buyer counted 113 in the app, with no Reddit automations yet.
How do the maths work out?
There is no honest subscription to compare against, so this review has no price table.
TexAu sells Desktop directly for $1,999 one-time for one machine, with five years of updates. That makes even Tier 4 at $552 look cheap.
The deal terms map the tiers to TexAu's "Solo" and "Starter" plans, at $99 and $249 a month. Those are V3 cloud plans, and the FAQ says V3 is not included. Comparing against them would compare against a product you do not get. AppSumo's struck-through prices do not match any price TexAu publishes either.
The closest monthly benchmark is a competitor. PhantomBuster's Start plan costs about $69 a month for 20 execution hours. Against that, Tier 1 pays back in a month, if the app is still running in a year.
What is the honest catch?
There are three, and the first is the history.
The honest catch
TexAu's 2019 AppSumo deal sold 11,285 codes with "all future plan updates". The cloud product was closed around October 2024, and in August 2025 the founder retired LinkedIn automation, telling lifetime buyers "Your LTD was for the original product." Those buyers now get 20 hours a month of Desktop per code plus a small V3 credit allowance. Some say in the current Q&A that support emails go unanswered.
The second is LinkedIn. LinkedIn's help centre says it does not permit third-party software, bots, or extensions that scrape or automate activity on its site. TexAu stopped its LinkedIn automations in 2025 citing pressure from the platforms, and is now selling them again. Running locally on your own IP may lower the chance of detection, but it does not make it allowed, and any restriction falls on your account.
The third is the licence check. TexAu's help centre says the app checks your licence when it starts and before each run, and does not work offline. A lifetime app that needs the vendor's server for every run is only as lifetime as the vendor. The browser extension is not on the Chrome Web Store either; you install it by hand in Developer mode.
The Ledger
Pros · ConsWorth your wallet
- Cheap against the $1,999 direct price and PhantomBuster's monthly plans
- Runs locally, so scraped data stays on your computer
- Unlimited connected accounts on every tier
- Google Maps, X, and YouTube scrapers alongside LinkedIn
- AppSumo Select listing with a 60-day refund
Hold the cheque
- The last TexAu LTD was closed twice; buyers were told it "was for the original product"
- LinkedIn's rules forbid automation tools, and the account risk is yours
- App needs TexAu's licence server before every run
- Browser extension is sideloaded, not on the Chrome Web Store
- Automation count, MCP, Reddit, and custom proxies are still catching up with the listing
- No API, no Google Sheets export, no email finding
Who should buy TexAu?
Very few buyers, and only as a short experiment.
If you need Google Maps or X scraping for a single project, Tier 1 or Tier 2 inside the 60-day refund window is a cheap way to get it done. Treat the purchase as a 60-day tool, not a lifetime asset.
If you are an old TexAu buyer, check what your existing codes now give you in Desktop before you spend anything new.
Who should skip it?
Skip it if your LinkedIn account matters to your business. The automation runs on your real account, and LinkedIn's rules are clear.
Skip it if you want a tool you can rely on for years. The vendor has already ended one lifetime product, and the new one needs its server to run.
Skip the higher tiers outright. $552 or $999 up front is a large bet on a company with this record.
How does TexAu compare to PhantomBuster, Dripify and Apify?
PhantomBuster is the closest match: cloud automations for LinkedIn, Google Maps, and more. Its Start plan costs about $69 a month for 20 execution hours. You pay every month, but you can stop when you stop needing it.
Dripify is a LinkedIn-only drip-campaign tool at $79 per user a month. It carries the same LinkedIn rules risk.
Apify is the better choice for the scraping half of TexAu's library. Its Starter plan costs $19 a month plus usage, with ready-made Google Maps scrapers.
On this desk, Spylead is a past LinkedIn and Google Maps scraping LTD that went badly, and Closely is a live multichannel outreach deal worth reading alongside this one.
Frequently Asked Questions
01Is the TexAu lifetime deal still available?
Yes. TexAu Desktop is live on AppSumo from $69 to $999 across five licence tiers, with a 60-day refund and no end date set.
02Does the TexAu lifetime deal include TexAu V3?
No. The FAQ says the deal does not include TexAu V3, the cloud app, an API, or any other TexAu product. It covers the TexAu Desktop app only.
03What happened to the old TexAu AppSumo lifetime deal?
The 2019 deal sold 11,285 codes for a cloud product. That product was closed around October 2024, and LinkedIn automation was retired in August 2025. The founder told those buyers their LTD was for the original product. They now get 20 hours a month of Desktop per code and a small V3 credit allowance.
04Can TexAu get my LinkedIn account restricted?
Yes, it can. LinkedIn does not permit third-party software that automates activity on its site, and TexAu's own help centre says LinkedIn can restrict an account that does more than normal activity. Running locally does not change the rule.
05Does TexAu Desktop work offline?
No. TexAu's help centre says the app checks your licence when it starts and before each run, and does not work offline.
Is it worth buying?
TexAu is a Skip.
The price is low, and the app may well work. But a lifetime deal is a bet on the vendor, and this vendor has already closed the last lifetime product it sold on AppSumo.
Add a LinkedIn rules risk that falls on your own account and an app that needs TexAu's server for every run, and the "lifetime" part does not hold up. If you need a scraper for one project, use the 60-day refund window or a monthly tool. The Sales shelf has the other outreach tools we track.
