Inrō automates Instagram DMs.

When someone comments a keyword, replies to a story, or messages you, Inrō sends a reply, a link, or a short flow that collects their email. An AI agent trained on your offers can answer DMs and comments in your tone.

The AppSumo deal starts at $59. The vendor's Pro plan starts at €12.99 a month per Instagram account.

The verdict? Consider. Here is how it scores against the way we review deals.

TL;DR. Inrō is live on AppSumo from $59 to $799 across five tiers. Tier 1 pays back in about four months against Pro. The catch: the deal's AI credits are capped and shared while Pro's are unlimited, the vendor is a small pre-seed team, and everything rides on Meta's API. Tier 2 suits most creators.

What does Inrō actually do?

Inrō works with Instagram Business and Creator accounts. It is built around triggers and flows.

The triggers are comment keywords, story replies, story mentions, incoming DMs, Live comments, conversation starters, and ad leads. Each one starts a flow that can send a link, ask a question, collect an email, or qualify a lead.

The AI agent learns from your website, offers, price list, and past messages, then answers DMs and comments in your voice. It can reply in several languages.

Around that sit DM broadcast campaigns to segments of your audience, a shared inbox with a CRM that stores unlimited contacts, Instagram post scheduling, and integrations with Shopify, Calendly, Stripe, and Make. Higher tiers add an API and an MCP server, so you can run it from Claude or ChatGPT.

It is Instagram only. There is no WhatsApp or Messenger support.

Inrō was founded in France in 2023 by Etienne Gatti and Pierre de Milly, and launched publicly in July 2024. AppSumo lists it as a team of one to ten, self-described as pre-seed.

Is the Inrō lifetime deal active?

Yes, the AppSumo deal is live with no end date set.

It is an AppSumo Launchpad listing, AppSumo's label for early-stage products, and it opened on launch day with no reviews. Inrō has only two reviews on Trustpilot and no G2 or Capterra listing.

The terms give lifetime access, all future Pro Plan updates, upgrades and downgrades between the five tiers, and a 60-day refund. You must activate within 60 days.

Every tier gets unlimited CRM contacts, unlimited active automations, the standard integrations, and the AI agent.

One AI credit is one AI message or one AI check inside a flow. Credits reset monthly. The help centre confirms that the deal's credits are shared across all the accounts on it.

An "activated contact" is someone who enters a flow in a given month. Your total contact list can be far larger.

Inrō's pricing page bills in euros. Pro starts at €12.99 a month for up to 500 activated contacts, about $15, and rises with the contacts you activate. It is billed per Instagram account; two accounts are two subscriptions. An annual plan costs €1,249 a year for 10,000 contacts a month on one account.

Tier 1 at $59 matches the bottom Pro band and pays back in about four months.

The multi-account tiers pay back faster, because Pro charges each account separately. Tier 2 at $119 covers two accounts that would cost about €40 a month on Pro, a payback under three months. Tier 3 at $299 covers four accounts at about €120 a month, roughly two months.

The comparison is not like for like. Pro includes the AI agent with no credit limit. The deal gives you 200 to 10,000 credits a month, shared across accounts. Tier 2 and above let you plug in your own OpenAI key, which removes the cap but adds your own OpenAI bill.

What is the honest catch?

There are three. The first is the AI cap.

Warning

The honest catch

The AI agent is the reason most people buy Inrō, and the deal rations it. Tier 1 gives 200 AI credits a month, which is 200 AI-written messages, while Pro subscribers get the agent without a cap. An account with a busy comment section can burn 200 in a day. Tier 2 is the real entry point, because it lets you use your own OpenAI key.

The second is Meta. Every Instagram automation tool runs on Meta's API, inside Meta's rules on messaging windows and send limits. If Meta changes those rules, every tool in the category changes with it, and a lifetime licence does not protect you. Inrō says it is a Meta Tech Provider, meaning it has passed Meta's access verification. It does not claim to be a Meta Business Partner.

The third is the vendor's size. Inrō claims 10,000+ creators and brands, but describes itself on AppSumo as pre-seed and pre-revenue, with one to ten staff. That is a lot of lifetime commitments for a small team.

The Ledger

Pros · Cons

Worth your wallet

  • Comment-to-DM, story, Live, and ad-lead triggers in one tool
  • AI agent trained on your offers and past replies
  • Unlimited CRM contacts and active automations on every tier
  • API and MCP server from Tier 3
  • Every tier pays back in under four months against Pro
  • Agency dashboard and white label from Tier 4

Hold the cheque

  • AI credits capped and shared across accounts; Pro's AI is unlimited
  • Tier 1 has 200 AI credits and no own-key option
  • Instagram only, with no WhatsApp or Messenger
  • Pre-seed vendor with one to ten staff
  • Fully dependent on Meta's API rules
  • Almost no independent reviews yet

Who should buy Inrō?

Buy it if Instagram DMs are where your sales happen.

Good fits:

  • coaches and course creators who run "comment GUIDE for the link" posts
  • small brands selling through Instagram with Shopify behind them
  • social media managers running two or more client accounts
  • creators who want their DM leads in a CRM, not lost in the inbox

Tier 2 at $119 is the sensible starting point. It adds a second account, three seats, and your own OpenAI key.

Who should skip it?

Skip it if you need WhatsApp or Messenger as well. Inrō does not cover them.

Skip it if you only want simple comment-to-DM links. Cheaper flat-rate tools do that well.

Skip it if you want a general social scheduler. SocialBu and Followr cover posting across networks; Inrō is a messaging tool first.

ManyChat is the market leader. It covers Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and SMS, and its Pro plan starts at about $15 a month and scales with contacts, with AI sold as an add-on.

LinkDM is the cheap, focused option, at $19 a month for three Instagram accounts and 25,000 DMs. It has no AI agent of the same kind.

Inrō sits between them. It has more AI and CRM than LinkDM, and a one-time price ManyChat does not offer. On this desk, DM Champ is the AI sales-agent deal for agencies, and the Social shelf has the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Inrō is live on AppSumo from $59 to $799 across five tiers, with a 60-day refund and no end date set.

02Does the Inrō lifetime deal include unlimited AI?

No. The deal includes 200 to 10,000 AI credits a month depending on the tier, shared across your accounts. Tiers 2 to 5 let you connect your own OpenAI key instead. Monthly Pro subscribers get the AI agent without a credit limit.

03Does Inrō work with WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger?

No. Inrō is built only for Instagram Business and Creator accounts.

04Which Inrō tier should I buy?

Tier 2 at $119 for most creators. It covers 2 Instagram accounts, 1,800 activated contacts a month, 700 AI credits, 3 seats, and your own OpenAI key. Tier 1 has 200 AI credits and no own-key option.

05What does Inrō cost without the lifetime deal?

Pro starts at €12.99 a month for up to 500 activated contacts and rises with volume, billed per Instagram account. An annual plan costs €1,249 a year for 10,000 contacts a month. There is also a free plan.

Is it worth buying?

Inrō is a Consider.

For anyone selling through Instagram DMs, it bundles a lot into a one-time price: flows, an AI agent, a CRM, and an API on the higher tiers. Every tier pays back within a few months.

The limits are the AI cap, a very small vendor, and Meta's rules. Skip Tier 1, buy Tier 2 with your own OpenAI key, run your next few launches through it inside the 60 days, and keep it only if the AI replies sound like you.
