Emailit is one of those AppSumo tools I did not expect to like this much.

I used it for real SMTP/API sending, and the simple answer is this: it is insanely good for the right use case.

The right use case is transactional email, product email, newsletters, and opt-in marketing.

The wrong use case is cold outreach.

I would not jump there unless your usage is already high. For most buyers, Tier 2 is the sweet spot.

Emailit is an email sending platform.

The credit maths

This is where you need to read the deal correctly.

Emailit's public pricing page lists Data Retention at $50/month and Dedicated IP at $300/year.

Most small buyers do not need those on day one.

But if you need long historical logs for compliance or a dedicated IP for serious volume, the lifetime deal does not make those costs disappear.

That is fair.

It just needs to be understood before buying.

Why I like Emailit after using it

The best thing about Emailit is how little drama there is.

Adding a sending domain is straightforward. SMTP credentials are easy to create. API sending is clean. Logs are visible enough to debug what happened without opening five dashboards.

For a developer or WordPress operator, that is most of the job.

I do not need my transactional email tool to write my sales copy.

I need it to send password resets, OTP emails, form notifications, order updates, onboarding emails, and product alerts without turning setup into a project.

Emailit handles that well.
