Sticker Mule Pro is the paid toolkit layer on top of Sticker Mule, the print shop that has shipped stickers, magnets, and apparel since 2010.

The AppSumo listing is not a lifetime deal. It is a free year of a membership that otherwise costs $9 a month.

That changes how to read it. There is nothing to pay back, so the question is only whether the tools are worth your time.

The verdict? Consider.

TL;DR. Sticker Mule Pro is free for one year on AppSumo, with no card and no auto-renewal. You get a Store on stickermule.com, email and SMS campaigns, a design studio, giveaways, and discounted UPS labels. The catch: it is a subscription trial, not an LTD, campaigns are pay-per-send, and only residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico can earn from a Store. A Consider.

I run every deal through the same editorial process, and this one needed a different lens: there is no LTD price to run against monthly billing, so the review is about the tools and the fine print.

What does Sticker Mule Pro actually do?

Sticker Mule is a print-on-demand shop. You upload art, they print stickers, labels, magnets, buttons, t-shirts, and similar, and ship them.

Pro is the membership that turns that shop into a creator platform. The listing names fifteen tools under one plan:

  • Stores on stickermule.com/yourname, with Sticker Mule printing and shipping every order
  • Studio, a browser design editor
  • Trace, Upscale, and Redraw for background removal, upscaling, and image-to-vector conversion
  • Notify, email and SMS campaigns to your customer list
  • Reply, a shared inbox for X and email
  • Write for blog posts and FAQs for a help page
  • Events and Give for launches and giveaways
  • Discounts and Commissions for coupon codes and referral payouts
  • Hire me for taking design commissions
  • Ship, discounted UPS labels for your own parcels

The part that matters is Stores. You set a markup over Sticker Mule's base price, they fulfil, and the difference lands in your Stripe account five days after shipping.

The vendor's own pricing page sells Pro at $9 a month after a one-month trial. There is no yearly plan and no long-term commitment.

Is the Sticker Mule Pro deal active?

Yes, the AppSumo listing is live. The current run started on 26 August 2026 and has no end date set.

The button reads Get now for FREE and the price line reads $0, 1 year of access. The listing shows 2 reviews, both five tacos, and 2,547 purchases so far.

The deal terms are three lines. You get one year of Pro. New and existing Sticker Mule users qualify as long as they are not already on a paid Pro plan. Codes must be redeemed within 60 days.

A Sticker Mule representative confirmed on the listing that the year does not auto-charge. When it ends you get a prompt to renew at the normal price.

The same representative, answering a buyer who asked for a proper lifetime deal, said there is no lifetime deal in the works and the free year is the offer for now.

What is the honest catch?

There are three, and the first one decides the verdict for most readers of this site.

Warning

The honest catch

Commissions, markups, and Stripe payouts are restricted to residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Two buyers asked on the AppSumo listing whether a US bank account or a W-8BEN form would get around it, and the Sticker Mule representative said no, the restriction is on residency. Everyone else can use every Pro tool but cannot earn from a Store.

The second catch is that campaigns are not free. Notify charges $0.005 per email recipient and $0.03 per SMS recipient, with a $5 minimum per campaign. A 2,000-contact email blast is $10. That is cheap, but it is a running cost the "free" headline does not mention.

The third catch is ownership. The Store lives at stickermule.com/yourname. There is no custom domain, and branding is limited to a banner, avatar, display name, bio, and one external link. You are a tenant on their marketplace, which also puts your store in their search.

None of these are hidden. They are all answered in the listing's questions tab. But they are not on the deal card either.

How do the maths work out?

There is no LTD arithmetic here, so I will not force a table on it.

Pro costs $9 a month direct. The AppSumo code gives you 12 months, so the face value is $108.

After the year you are back on $9 a month or you lose the Store, the Notify list, and the Pro tools. The free Sticker Mule account keeps ordering prints but nothing else.

The real value is in the margins, not the membership. Sticker Mule takes no platform or listing fee on Stores. Product has a base price, you set the markup, and you keep the difference. If you sell fifty sticker packs a month at a $3 markup, that is $150 a month, and the membership is a rounding error either way.

If you sell nothing, the membership was still free. There is no downside beyond the time spent setting it up.

The Ledger

Pros · Cons

Worth your wallet

  • Costs nothing, no card, and does not auto-renew after the year
  • Sticker Mule is a bootstrapped shop founded in 2010 with sixteen million orders behind it
  • Store orders are printed and shipped by Sticker Mule, with no listing or platform fee
  • Studio, Trace, Upscale, and Redraw are useful on their own for anyone making sticker art
  • Discounted UPS labels through Ship work for your own parcels, not just Store orders
  • Existing Sticker Mule customers qualify as long as they are not already paying for Pro

Hold the cheque

  • Not a lifetime deal, and the representative said none is planned
  • Store earnings are locked to residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Notify campaigns cost per recipient with a $5 minimum
  • No custom domain, and your store sits inside Sticker Mule's marketplace
  • The vendor page shows a "not available in your region" banner for some visitors
  • Only 2 reviews, both from the first week of the listing

Who should take it?

Take the free year if you live in the US, Canada, or Mexico and already sell or want to sell stickers, magnets, or simple merch to an audience you have.

Good fits:

  • illustrators and comic artists with a following on X or Instagram
  • podcasters and streamers who want merch without holding stock
  • small brands that already order stickers from Sticker Mule for packaging
  • event organisers who need a quick merch table online

The strongest case is someone who already buys from Sticker Mule. The Store adds a sales channel on top of an account you use anyway.

Who should skip it?

Skip it if you live outside the three eligible countries and your only reason to sign up is the Store. You would spend a weekend building a shop that cannot pay you.

Also skip it if you already run a Printful or Printify store on your own domain. Sticker Mule's product range is narrower and the store cannot leave their domain.

If you just want the design tools, the free year is fine, but set a reminder for month eleven so the $9 renewal is a choice, not a surprise.

How does it compare to Printful and Printify?

Printful and Printify are broader. Both let you push products into a Shopify, Etsy, or WooCommerce store on your own domain, with hundreds of product types.

Sticker Mule Pro is narrower and simpler. The store is theirs, the products are theirs, and the print quality on stickers specifically is the reason the brand exists.

If stickers and labels are the product, Sticker Mule prints them better and the Store is a five-minute setup. If you want a full merch line on your own domain, the other two are the tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

01Is Sticker Mule Pro on AppSumo a lifetime deal?

No. It is one free year of the Pro membership, which normally costs $9 a month. A Sticker Mule representative said on the listing that no lifetime deal is planned and the free year is the offer for now.

02Does the free year auto-renew or charge my card?

No. The listing takes no payment, and the representative confirmed the year does not auto-charge. When it ends you get a prompt to renew at the regular $9 a month.

03Can I earn money from a Sticker Mule Store outside the US?

Not at present. Commissions, markups, and Stripe payouts are restricted to residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico. The restriction is on residency, so a US bank account or a W-8BEN form does not change it. All other Pro tools still work.

04Are the Notify email and SMS campaigns included free?

The tool is included but sending is charged per recipient: $0.005 per email, $0.03 per SMS, with a $5 minimum per campaign.

05Can I use a custom domain for my Sticker Mule Store?

No. Stores live at stickermule.com/yourname and can be set to private, but they cannot move to your own domain.

Is it worth taking?

Sticker Mule Pro is a Consider.

It is free, it comes from a company that will still exist next year, and the Store is a real sales channel for a narrow product set. That is more than most free AppSumo listings offer.

But it is not a lifetime deal, and the part that makes money is closed to most of the world. If you are in the US, Canada, or Mexico and you sell stickers, take the year and see what a Store does for you. If not, take it for the design tools, set a reminder, and keep looking at the Ecommerce shelf for a deal that actually lasts.
